Designing a kitchen is about much more than selecting beautiful materials or choosing cabinet colors. It's about understanding how a family lives and transforming that vision into a space that feels effortless, elegant, and highly functional.

For the Colina family, their new residence in Doral represented the beginning of a new chapter. As their forever home, they envisioned a complete renovation with an open-concept kitchen seamlessly integrated into the home's social areas.

The overall renovation concept was developed by architects Valeria Bohorquez and Natalia Bohorquez, who defined the architectural language, material palette, colors, and spatial integration throughout the residence. Monaco Sweet Home translated that vision into a fully custom kitchen, combining our expertise in cabinetry, storage solutions, premium hardware, and functional design.

Minimalist Aesthetics & Dynamic Architectural Solutions

One of the project's defining characteristics is its minimalist aesthetic. Clean, flat cabinet fronts create visual continuity, allowing the kitchen to blend naturally into the architecture.

The coffee station and bar were designed with a pocket door system so they can disappear completely when not in use. Likewise, the range hood above the cooktop is concealed behind matching cabinet doors, preserving the uninterrupted design.

Tailored Storage Engineered for Everyday Rituals

Storage was carefully planned around the family's daily routine. Internal drawers are hidden behind full-height cabinet doors, creating a clean appearance while maximizing capacity.

Custom features include a pull-out Air Fryer station, hidden trash bins beside the dishwasher, dedicated spice storage, inserts for knives, utensils and cutting boards, concealed island storage with push-to-open doors, and a spacious pantry where every item has its place.

Premium Materials & High-End Hardware Fabrication

The cabinetry was manufactured using FINSA Spanish panels in Cashmere, combined with Zenith Oak from the Alvic collection. Matte quartz countertops complement the warm palette, while the island extends into a dining table supported by black steel legs that coordinate with the black gola profiles and recessed toe kicks.

A Dacor counter-depth French door refrigerator and the wine cooler were fully panel-ready and integrated into the cabinetry for a seamless appearance. LED lighting beneath the upper cabinets provides functional task lighting, while illuminated decorative open shelves add warmth and showcase carefully selected décor.

The entire kitchen is equipped with premium Salice hardware, ensuring durability, smooth operation, and long-term reliability. This project perfectly illustrates Monaco Sweet Home's philosophy: beautiful kitchens should not only look exceptional—they should make everyday life easier, more organized, and more enjoyable.
